PRODUCTION DESIGNER

We’re seeking a dedicated and experienced production powerhouse with a finely tuned sense of design to work on a variety of projects for a specific client. This is a hybrid position (65% production/design, 35% creative/design work) in a small studio setting. Production/design duties include producing flawless digital production materials, retouching high-resolution images, and prepping digital comprehensives (i.e., cutting, mounting, and binding).

The ideal candidate understands design and turns executing concepts for client-specific packaging into an art form. He/she should also be comfortable taking the lead for our client—from fleshing out packaging systems and refining existing creative platforms to creating rebate flyers and developing new ideas. An eye for detail is required to ensure that effective graphic-design and product-specification processes are followed and that files are organized and managed according to client/company standards.

A bachelor’s degree in graphic design and at least 5 years of proven design/production experience producing packaging preferred. Proficiency with Adobe CS Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop a must.
